A Legacy of Winning

The Nazareth community is the home to great champions and the Nazareth Area Blue Eagle Marching Band is in an elite class. Since the Blue Eagles embarked on their competitive field show journey in 1980, the band has amassed an impressive amount of victories, over 195. Most recently they took home the 2024 Cavalcade of Bands – Yankee Open Championship.  This made them champions for FIVE consecutive seasons!  They also won the Group 4 Open US Bands National Championship in 2010 as well as many others . They compete almost every weekend from September to November both locally and nationally. Under the direction of Matthew Tanzos, the Nazareth Area Blue Eagle Marching Band is proud to continue their winning legacy. Whether they are supporting our football team or performing as a competitive group of their own, the band is proud to represent the Nazareth Area School District and the greater Nazareth community.
